Ohio Terrorist Wanted U.S. To ‘Make Peace’ With ISIS [Video]

‘Every single Muslim who disapproves of my actions is a sleeper cell, waiting for a signal,’warned attacker.

The Somali student who plowed into 11 people with a car then started stabbing people on Monday in Ohio appears to have been engaging in a “lone wolf” terrorist attack, according to officials.

While the attacker, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, 20, was killed by a police officer, none of the victims’ injuries are life threatening, authorities said on Tuesday.

The Islamic State militant group ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack even though, so far, “investigators have found no strong evidence linking Artan to other known militant individuals, cells or groups.”

Prior to the attack, according to the Associated Press, Artan railed on Facebook that the U.S. should “make peace” with ISIS:

The Somali-born student who went on a car-and-knife rampage at Ohio State University railed on Facebook against U.S. interference in Muslim lands and warned, “If you want us Muslims to stop carrying lone wolf attacks, then make peace” with the Islamic State group, a law enforcement official said Tuesday.

The posts from Abdul Razak Ali Artan’s account came to light after Monday’s violence, which left 11 people injured. Investigators are looking into whether it was a terrorist attack.

Whether is was a “terrorist attack” seems rather obvious at this point.

“Every single Muslim who disapproves of my actions is a sleeper cell, waiting for a signal. I am warning you Oh America!” Artan also said.

Artan, a Somalian, came to the U.S. in 2014, but officials believe he may have lived in Pakistan for up to seven years.
