A CNN crew’s joking about President-elect Trump’s plane crashing makes for an awkward moment.
Playing right into the stereotype of the “main stream media’s liberal bias,” CNN has apologized and stated it has disciplined a producer for joking about Donald Trump’s plane crashing.
The incident, according to the Hill, occurred as CNN national correspondent Suzanne Malveaux getting ready for a live shot and talking to a producer as Trump was arriving in Indianapolis on Thursday for his announcement about a deal with air conditioner manufacturer Carrier.
The producer is discussing signals to the reporter about Trump’s arrival.
“If I do this, it means he’s landed,” the producer is heard saying. “That means his plane’s crashed — no, I’m kidding.”
The incident begins around 1:25 in the video below.
For years, CNN has come under fire for being biased toward both Bill and Hillary Clinton.
However, this year’s election season made it even worse when it was revealed that CNN contributor Donna Brazile leaked debate questions to the Clinton campaign.
CNN later released Brazile, stating the network was “completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.”
